UNBOXED: The very essence of Christmas #ChristmasSpecial | BLOG #004
Christmas? Oh great
I just passed through the twelve months of life
Life
Christmas is a sign of life
Let's start asking some of these questions:
Why do we really need to celebrate?
Why do we show love to others? Why only on Christmas?
Why do we have to give gifts or to receive something every Christmas?
I realize back then that the Christmas is not all about us but it's for us.
It always goes back to the story long time ago when night was calm and after the 400 years of silence, there's a luminous star above pointing to a little child who was born. A child who came with a mission and that is to pursue and to fulfill us. This is where we began to celebrate.
The reason of giving
The reason of receiving
The reason of celebrating
It's JESUS CHRIST.
We give because He first gave His life to us
We receive because He let us receive the greatest gift
"The greatest gift of the greatest is He himself"
We celebrate because whoever receive the greatest gift has something to celebrate, that's the eternal life given by Him.
Some of you may misunderstood what Christmas is all about and sometimes you might say that we don't need that whole thing.
But what really matters is, there's someone has to demonstrate love before we do it.
The fact that God first love us before we do it to Him or to others. Because of Him, we got to honor other people and to show authentic love to each other.
Whatever we believe in Christmas, what makes it important is the love shared among people because Jesus came to be a great example of love. We can't deny how He love us that He sacrifice Himself for us, for our sake.
Christmas is a sign of Jesus life
Celebrating it means we're willing to unboxed the greatest gift of all
We're willing to receive Him and accept Him as our personal Lord and Savior.
It's good how we recognize Jesus every christmas but my wish for this season is we never take Him away in our hearts and also to act according to His ways.
